Two Friends, a Truck and One Rule About Doing It Right
No investors, no franchise, no call center. Just a company that grew because people kept telling their neighbors.
2019
The mission, before the paperwork
Matthew Munson and Marty Persich, two hands on tradesmen and lifelong friends, started taking on fence and deck work with one idea behind it. Homeowners deserved better communication, better materials and a better experience than the industry was handing them.
2021
MAP Quality becomes an LLC
The side work turned into a company. Same two people, same standard, now with a name on the truck and a warranty in writing.
Today
Two locations, one crew culture
Peru and Morris, serving more than a dozen towns across LaSalle and Grundy Counties. Matt and Marty are still on job sites, not behind desks, and the crew has grown around them rather than replacing them.

If you follow us on Facebook you already know what you are getting. Half the feed is finished decks. The other half is Eddie getting left behind, somebody forgetting their tools, and the eternal argument about whether two trips is acceptable.
That is on purpose. You are letting a crew into your yard for a week. You should know what they are like before they get there.
- We tell you what it costs. The quote is the number. No call halfway through asking for more.
- We look after our own. After one brutally hot week this summer the whole crew got a paid day off. Work hard, play hard.

What People Ask Before They Hire Us
Who actually shows up to my property?
Our own crew. We do not subcontract the install out. Matt or Marty runs the estimate, and the people in the photos on this page are the ones who build it.
How long have you been doing this?
Matt and Marty started taking on work in 2019 and formed the LLC in 2021. Everything since has been word of mouth and repeat customers rather than advertising spend.
Are you licensed, bonded and insured?
Yes, all three, and we will show you proof without being asked twice. If any contractor gets cagey about that question, that is your answer.
Do you work in Grundy County or just the Illinois Valley?
Both. The Morris location exists specifically so Grundy County jobs get a local crew rather than a truck driving an hour each way.
What happens if something goes wrong after you leave?
You call us and we come back. Materials carry manufacturer warranties, our work carries a craftsmanship warranty, and gates get adjusted for as long as you own them.
