Vinyl Fence Installation in LaSalle and Peru, IL

4.9 ★★★★★ 233 Google reviews across Peru and Morris

A fence you install once and then stop worrying about. No painting, no staining, and no boards to replace after a hard Illinois winter.

The problem with most fences

Most Fences Look Good for Two Years. Then the Work Starts.

A wood fence looks great the first spring. By the third it has faded to gray, a few boards have warped, and the gate drags on the ground. From then on it needs staining every couple of years just to stop getting worse.

Chain link is the other common choice. It keeps the dog in the yard but gives you no privacy at all. Vinyl solves both problems. You put it up once, rinse it off now and then, and that is the whole job.

What you can have

Six Vinyl Fence Styles We Install Around LaSalle and Peru

Vinyl panels are built to order, so you choose the height, the color and the style before anything is made.

  • Solid Privacy PanelsFull height, no gaps, tongue and groove boards. The standard choice for a back yard in town where the neighbor is forty feet away.
  • Woodgrain PrivacyVinyl with a textured woodgrain finish in colors like walnut and gray. Reads as wood from the driveway and still never needs staining.
  • Lattice TopA privacy panel with an open lattice section along the top. Keeps sight lines closed at eye level while letting light and air through.
  • Picket and Semi PrivacySpaced pickets for a front yard or garden bed. Defines the boundary without walling the house off from the street.
  • Ranch RailTwo and three rail runs for acreage and long property lines. Marks the edge, keeps livestock where it belongs, holds the view.
  • Gates and EntriesSingle, double and drive gates with hardware sized to the panel. Including hinges that lift a gate over a rising grade.

Why vinyl holds up here

Why Vinyl Holds Up Through an Illinois Winter

Between November and March the ground here freezes and thaws over and over. Wood soaks up water, swells, then dries out and splits. Vinyl does not absorb water at all, so the fence you put up in May looks the same the following spring.

  • Nothing to paint or stain, ever. The color goes all the way through the material instead of sitting on the surface.
  • It will not rot, warp or splinter. No soft spots down at ground level where the water sits.
  • Lifetime warranty on the panels. In writing, from the manufacturer, not just a promise from us.

The plan

How a Vinyl Fence Install Works, Step by Step

You will always know which step your job is on. We tell you, so you never have to ask.

Choose the Profile and Color

We bring samples out to the property. Height, color, privacy against picket, and where the gates need to swing all get settled before anything is ordered.

Measure, Permit and Order

Vinyl is made to your spec, so the run gets measured properly, the village permit gets pulled and the panels go on order with your color locked in.

Concrete, Cure, Then Panels

Posts go in below the frost line and cure before anything hangs off them. Rushing this step is why other people’s fences lean.

Gate Hardware and Sign Off

Hinges and latches get set, every gate gets swung and adjusted, and the manufacturer warranty paperwork comes with us when we leave.

Fence the Whole Yard Now. Pay Over Time.

A lot of people shorten the fence line to hit a budget. With 0% financing you can fence the whole yard and pay for it monthly instead.

★★★★★

Unbelievably impressed. We have a large yard and went with a higher quality type vinyl fence. I could not be more pleased with how well it was assembled and crafted. Each pole cemented in nice and perfectly straight.

Eric Harcharik

★★★★★

These guys are straight up great to deal with. Needed a vinyl fence repair that someone else installed. Sent them pics of the problem and they were here the next day.

Kevin Pikul, Peru

★★★★★

MAP did a phenomenal job on my fence. The crew were courteous, respectful and did a great job installing it, and Matt kept me informed every step of the way.

Chris Stickney

★★★★★

MAP fencing was very professional from start to finish. They stuck with the job and would have finished in one day if a storm had not moved in. They came in early the next day and had it done within a couple of hours.

Michael Morris

★★★★★

Very professional people, the fence looks great, price was what they quoted, overall very satisfied.

Common questions

Vinyl Fence Questions from LaSalle County Homeowners

How much does a vinyl fence cost in LaSalle or Peru?

It comes down to linear feet, panel height, color and how many gates you need. A white six foot privacy run and a woodgrain run with three gates are very different numbers. We measure and give you one in writing.

Is vinyl actually cheaper than wood over time?

Up front, no. Over ten years, usually. Wood needs staining or sealing every few years plus board replacement. Vinyl needs a hose.

Will it go yellow or brittle in the cold?

Quality vinyl will not. Cheap vinyl does, which is why we name the brand on the quote and the manufacturer warranty comes with it.

Can I get something other than white?

Yes. Tan, gray, black and woodgrain finishes in walnut and similar tones. Color is part of the order, so it gets decided before the panels are made.

What if my yard slopes?

Panels can be racked to follow the grade or stepped down it, depending on the style. For gates on a rising grade we use a hinge that lifts the gate as it opens.

Do you repair vinyl fencing someone else installed?

Yes, and we do a fair amount of it. Send a photo of the damage and we will tell you honestly whether it is a panel swap or a bigger problem.
